Statement From Assembly Minority Leader
Brian M. Kolb (R,C,I, Canandaigua) On Thanksgiving

"Thanksgiving Day allows us time to reflect on our blessings and enjoy the many traditions with friends and family that make the holiday so special. Food, family and football are some of the ways we connect with each other, but families across the state and nation will celebrate together in their own unique way. That experience makes our communities stronger and gives us all a chance to step back and refocus on what is truly important.

During this time of year, many will donate time, money or goods to those less fortunate. The generosity I have seen throughout the Finger Lakes Region and in New York State has been nothing short of remarkable. I am proud of the robust spirit of charity I have seen in years past and I have no doubt we will continue that tradition this year. Thank you for what you have done to make our state better, and have a Happy Thanksgiving Day."
