Stan Brooks was the defining voice for more than a generation of New York radio listeners and was one the most professional reporters I have ever known. Always courteous, Stan was a driven and hard working reporter whose only goal was to get the story right. He was a true gentleman and I always enjoyed our interactions. I, along with all New Yorkers, mourn his passing and he will be greatly missed.
