Budget Highlights |
State Operations |
Greenway Heritage Conservancy for the Hudson River Valley |
The Executive proposes a General Fund appropriation of $190,000 in State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2004-05 for the Greenway Heritage Conservancy for the Hudson River Valley. The appropriation reflects a net reduction of $60,000 from SFY 2003-04 because of an administrative consolidation between similar entities. The Hudson River Valley Communities Council and the Greenway Heritage Conservancy now share an executive director, which will generate savings. |
Northeastern Queens Nature and Historic Preservation Committee |
The Executive recommends eliminating funding for the Northeastern Queens Nature and Historic Preservation Committee because it provides the same services as similar agencies at the city and state level. The appropriation was $92,000 in SFY 2003-04. |
Aid To Localities |
Tribal Sate Compact Revenue |
The Executive recommends a General Fund appropriation of $7,667,000 for Tribal State Compact Revenue as per Section 99-h of the State Finance Law. This represents a reduction of $6,083,000 from SFY 2003-04. |
