Assemblywoman Andrea K. Bailey Delivers Valentine’s Day Cards to Local Aging Offices

Today, Assemblywoman Andrea K. Bailey (R,C-Geneseo) delivered 1,500 Valentine’s Day cards handmade by local students to local aging offices around the district. The schools that participated in this heartfelt gesture include Dansville School, Wayland-Cohoton School, Caledonia-Mumford School, Victor School, St. Agnes School, Avon School and Perry School.

A small card can carry a big message, and this Valentine’s Day, 1,500 reminders went out that our seniors are loved and never forgotten.

The cards were distributed to the Offices for the Aging in Steuben, Wyoming, Livingston and Ontario counties through their Meals on Wheels programs. Bailey also visited the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation to personally share in the celebration.

“In collaboration with our seven participating school districts, I wanted to do my part in making our seniors’ days just a little brighter,” said Bailey. “Our seniors are pillars of our community, and it is important that we support them in any way we can.”
