Goodell Works to Expand Role of Women In Chautauqua County Workforce

Assemblyman Andy Goodell (R,C–Chautauqua) recently met with Valarie Easterly, Dunkirk Center Career Counselor, and Heather Shultz, Olean Center Director, of Everywoman Opportunity Center during their visit to the Capitol. Ms. Easterly and Ms. Shultz were in Albany to promote the valuable role that women play in New York’s ongoing economic recovery.

“The outreach that Everywoman Opportunity Center does to improve the lives of women in Western New York should never go unrecognized,” said Goodell. “During these difficult economic times, their commitment to expanding the role of women in the work force is critical. The educational and career services that Everywoman Opportunity Center offers their clients provides local women with a distinct advantage as they prepare to enter the work force for the first time or transition into a new career path.”

For 30 years, Everywoman Opportunity Center has helped women achieve economic and personal self-sufficiency. Women looking for employment or career assistance are welcome to contact the center at 324 Central Avenue, Suite 11, Dunkirk, New York.
