Goodell Joins Taft Center For Senior Prom
Assemblyman crowns King and Queen of senior prom
Assemblyman Andy Goodell (R,C–Chautauqua) recently joined the Taft Center for their senior prom. The day’s activities were capped off with the crowning of the prom King and Queen. This year’s recipients were Mr. Richard Maitland of Lakewood and Mrs. Doris Smith of Jamestown.
“The Taft Center provides an outstanding array of activities for their clients,” said Goodell. “The seniors’ prom provided endless entertainment for all in attendance. The place was beautifully decorated and everyone was beautifully dressed. I also want to include a special thanks to the staff for their outstanding efforts and the seniors for allowing me to join in their celebration. Most importantly, I would like to offer my best wishes to Richard and Doris, the prom King and Queen, and all the seniors at the Taft Center.”
“I’d also like to include a special thank you to the local students in attendance from Brocton, Southwestern, Falconer, Fredonia, Cattaraugus and Frewsburg High Schools. The students helped with hair and makeup for the attendees and many shared a dance with the seniors,” concluded Goodell.
