Goodell Continues Town Hall Series With Stop At Jamestown City Hall

Assemblyman invites residents and local officials to share thoughts on key issues

Assemblyman Andy Goodell (R,C-Chautauqua) recently announced the third stop in his town hall meeting series. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of Jamestown City Hall, 200 East Second Street, Jamestown.

“I want to thank the many local residents who have taken the time to share their thoughts and ideas during my first two meetings. I have received overwhelmingly positive reactions during these meetings, and I look forward to hearing from our neighbors here in Jamestown and the surrounding communities,” said Goodell. “During the first two meetings, residents expressed strong support for the positive initiatives the legislature has put forward this year, from providing key aid for agriculture programs like the Farm Viability Institute and the Cornell Co-Operative Extension, to restoring the EPIC program for our senior citizens. Having residents share their thoughts on how state government can further ease their burdens provides me with the support I need as I carry on our fight for Chautauqua County.”

Members of the City Council and the Mayor also have been invited to attend the event.
