Morinello to Host Car Seat Safety Check
Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello (R,C,I,Ref-Niagara Falls) is pleased to announce that his office, in coordination with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office of Traffic Safety, the Town of Niagara Police Dept. and the Town of Lewiston Police Dept. will be hosting car seat safety checks this June.
“Thank you to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, and the Town of Niagara and Town of Lewiston Police Departments for lending a helping hand and getting involved in this event with our residents,” said Morinello. “Safety when traveling is always a top priority for any guardian and providing these car seat safety checks will give parents and grandparents peace of mind when traveling. It is important that we continue to work with the various agencies in our community and provide every opportunity available to keep our residents safe.”
The car seat safety checks will take place the weekend of June 16, beginning Friday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Town of Niagara Active Hose Volunteer Fire Company, 6010 Lockport Rd. in Niagara Falls, and Saturday, June 17, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Lewiston Fire Company No. 1, 145 N. 6th St. in Lewiston.
