Morinello to Host Car Seat Safety Check
Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello (R,C,I,Ref-Niagara Falls) is pleased to announce that his office, in coordination with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and the Grand Island Fire Company, will be hosting a car seat safety check.
“Thanks to the help of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and the Grand Island Fire Company, residents will be afforded the opportunity to have their child’s car seat checked for fitting and effectiveness,” said Morinello. “In order to ensure our children are as safe as possible while passengers in the motor vehicle, the car seat that is being used must be fit and secured properly. A quick stop by our car seat check will give parents and guardians the peace of mind that their little one is safe while traveling.”
“My office works with many community partners and elected officials throughout Erie County on a wide array of public safety services, but I am especially proud when my office partners with groups to protect our children,” said Sheriff Timothy Howard. “Thank you, Assemblyman Morinello for hosting the car seat safety event and inviting The Erie County Sheriff’s Office to the event.”
The car seat safety check will take place Saturday, July 22, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Grand Island Fire Hall, 2275 Baseline Rd., Grand Island.
