Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara announced he will be presenting a proclamation to Cage Wars in recognition of its 50^th event and contributions to the local economy and support of local athletes.

Cage Wars is an amateur MMA organization that began in 2007 as a small gym for fighters. Once New York legalized MMA fighting in 2016, a law Santabarbara long supported and championed in the Assembly (Ch. 32 of 2016), Cage Wars was able to successfully expand its mission, offering local MMA fighters a safe platform to compete and showcase their skills and offering fans an unparalleled, action-packed sporting experience.
