Assemblyman Santabarbara joins representatives from Hill & Markes, Inc. to deliver backpacks full of school supplies to Joby Gifford, Principal of Jefferson Elementary School. The backpacks were distributed at a drive-thru event today and the remaining will be distributed on the first day of schools to students in need.

Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, in partnership with Hill & Markes, Inc., a local wholesale distributor, delivered backpacks full of school supplies for students in need to the Schalmont Central School District at Jefferson Elementary, today as part of the “Backpack Giveback” program – this year’s goal of providing 1,100 backpacks filled with supplies and a motivational note to help benefit children in need for the upcoming school year.
