“The governor’s budget proposal officially begins negotiations for this year’s state budget. As always, I’ll be an independent voice for our families and fight to deliver solutions that keep our communities safe, support our first responders, help working families who are still struggling and focus on ways to help them keep more money in their pockets. As our economy continues to reel from workforce shortages and supply chain issues, I was pleased to hear a commitment to make historic investments in workforce development; I look forward to learning more about these plans. And, as a longtime champion for people with disabilities, I’ll also continue leading efforts to support services and new opportunities that ensure people with disabilities are not left behind.”
