Assemblyman Santabarbara to Host Annual Valentines for Vets Event
Kids at Mohonasen schools to thank local heroes

Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara announced he will be hosting his annual Valentines for Vets event at Bradt Primary School in Rotterdam. This will be the 10th year of the program which provides students with a unique opportunity to thank local veterans by coloring special Valentine’s Day cards and adding their own personalized messages while learning about their service to our country.
Major General Denise Donnell, the first woman to command the 5,800 Airmen of the nation's largest Air Guard contingent of the New York Air National Guard was recently promoted to the two-star rank of major general. Major General Donnell is one of only five women to attain the rank of major general in the New York National Guard, will be in attendance.
