Assemblyman Santabarbara and The Schenectady County Food Council to Host Film Screening and Community Discussion on Food Insecurity
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara and The Schenectady County Food Council’s Steering Committee to host an engaging evening focused on addressing food insecurity. The event will feature the screening of selected clips from the film "A Place at the Table," followed by a community discussion.
The Schenectady County Food Council comprises of Assemblyman Santabarbara, multiple organizations, and community members across Schenectady County, united in their commitment to combatting food insecurity. This collaborative effort seeks to enhance food security within the community and is actively seeking new members to join the initiative.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and learn about various ways to contribute and become partners in this vital effort to transform the local food system. Light snacks and beverages will be provided, and attendees will also receive information on how to get involved with the Food Council.
