Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara will join the Alliance for a Hunger Free New York, members of the Schenectady County Food Council, and frontline food providers from across the State during the 34th Annual People’s State of the State Rally.

Speakers will urge state leaders to include critical investments in the final budget, including:

• $75 million for the Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Assistance Program (HPNAP)
• $75 million for Nourish NY
• Direct contracts for direct food providers, ensuring funding reaches communities efficiently

Assemblyman Santabarbara is a member of the Schenectady County Food Council and a longtime volunteer with Street Soldiers and local food distribution agencies.
