Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara to Honor Women of Distinction at Annual Ceremony
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara will host a Women of Distinction Ceremony honoring exceptional women from Schenectady and Montgomery Counties whose leadership, service, and dedication have made a lasting impact on their communities. The program, in its 14th year, recognizes women whose achievements and service strengthen communities and improve lives. Santabarbara’s annual ceremony celebrates honorees from diverse professional and volunteer backgrounds who exemplify leadership, resilience, and civic commitment.
THIS YEAR’S HONOREES:
Sierra Budhraj – A business owner rooted in family and service, Sierra is the co-owner of Mangoes Restaurant & Bar in Schenectady and a professional in the finance industry, whose commitment to mentorship, entrepreneurship, and community involvement reflects a dedication to growth and leadership.
Jacqueline Clute – A lifelong advocate for food security, Jacqueline Clute serves as President of the Board of Luken Daily Bread Food Pantry and Executive Director of multiple food assistance programs, leading efforts that support tens of thousands of individuals and families each year throughout Schenectady County.
Megan Dumblewski – An accomplished hospitality entrepreneur and community leader, Megan is the founder of Megabites Catering and the driving force behind Meg’s at Muni, transforming a public space into a vibrant community gathering place while creating jobs and revitalizing local assets.
Michelle Jackson – A respected leader known for her commitment to service and empowerment, Michelle Jackson has made a meaningful impact through her work supporting families, fostering opportunity, and advancing community well-being.
Michele Johnson – A trusted voice and advocate in her community, Michele Johnson has demonstrated outstanding dedication to service, leadership, and mentorship, helping to build stronger, more inclusive communities.
Carla Page – A dedicated community advocate, Carla Page has consistently worked to uplift and support others through civic engagement, volunteerism, and leadership, strengthening connections and improving quality of life for those she serves.
