Assemblyman Santabarbara Tapped for Farm Bureau’s “Circle of Friends”
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara has again been named to the New York Farm Bureau’s “Circle of Friends.”
“Assemblyman Santabarbara was chosen for his commitment to the hard working farm families in New York. He has demonstrated that he understands the importance of agriculture in his legislative district, and how farming significantly impacts the economy of this great state,” said Dean Norton, president of New York Farm Bureau.
The recent “Circle of Friends” includes state legislators who support state agriculture and the Farm Bureau based on their voting record and legislative actions during the 2014 legislative session.
“Agriculture is vital to our region’s economy and way of life, which is why I’m committed to helping farms stay viable and attract new generations of farmers,” said Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara. “I’m proud to be recognized this year, as well as in the past, by the New York Farm Bureau and will continue to fight for our farmers in the 2015 legislative session and beyond."
