“With 1 in 54 affected by autism, awareness events are now more important than ever,” said Assemblyman Santabarbara, who serves as Chair of the NY State Assembly’s sub-Committee on Autism Spectrum Disorders. “Autism Night with the Amsterdam Mohawks helps to continue to promote our mission to bring more awareness to the obstacles and challenges local families affected by autism are facing,” Santabarbara said. “It’s also an exciting day for kids like my son to see the Amsterdam Mohawks play on a special night just for them.”
