Assemblyman Fall, Staff and Volunteers Once Again Come Together in Community Beautification Effort
On Saturday, September 17, 2022, Assemblyman Charles D. Fall (D-Richmond, Manhattan, Brooklyn) hosted a clean-up effort with staff, community advocates, school faculty, department of sanitation and over 50 volunteers in the Port Richmond section of Staten Island.
In the effort, over 200 bags of litter and overgrown brush was collected and disposed of by DSNY. Since elected, the Assemblyman has organized countless clean-up events and communicated the need with city and state agencies, and communities throughout the North Shore of Staten Island on the importance of beautifying neighborhoods.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank my staff, Department of Sanitation, faculty and students from PS21, Port Richmond High school, Susan Wagner and ASAAL for their efforts in our community clean-up in Port Richmond. As I often say, clean communities make for healthy communities.” said Assemblyman Charles D. Fall
