Assemblyman Charles D. Fall Condemns Brutal Attacks at Al-Aqsa Mosque During the Holy Month of Ramadan
“I stand today, gravely concerned and deeply disturbed by the events that unfolded at the Al- Aqsa Mosque, a place of great significance and reverence to millions across the globe. The violent actions undertaken during the sacred month of Ramadan are not just an affront to those who were in the mosque praying, but to all who believe in the sanctity of religious sites and the fundamental right to worship. These actions exacerbate tensions during an already volatile time, threatening to ignite a wider conflict. As an elected member of the New York State Assembly, I call upon all involved to exercise restraint, respect international laws protecting religious sites, and engage in constructive dialogue. Violence, particularly at a place of worship, is never the answer. Let this be a moment for reflection and a renewed commitment to peace, understanding, and coexistence.”
