On Thursday, May 30^th the Jewish Children’s Museum located in Brooklyn, New York was vandalized with anti-Semitic rhetoric. The museum is a facility that is meant to bring people together and remind us of how to be tolerant towards all religions and cultures.

There has been a marked increase of hate speech and acts of vandalism plaguing the country in the past few years and it is starting to hit home throughout New York State. The state and the city of New York have increased efforts to implement zero tolerance policy for racism, discrimination and hate crimes.

“We once again have to witness a heinous act of hate, this time on a religious cultural center. We are one of, if not, the most diverse state in America. I hope that the individuals that carried out this act are apprehended and prosecuted appropriately,” said Fall
