Lavine Expresses Concern over Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza in Letter to Israeli Consul General

Glen Cove, New York – New York State Assemblymember Charles Lavine has sent a letter to Consul General of Israel in New York, Ofir Akunis, expressing “grave concern” over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. In his letter, Lavine, who serves as President of the New York Chapter of the National Association of Jewish Legislators and a member of its National Board of Directors, notes his identity as a Zionist as he asks the government of Israel to take the necessary steps so that no child, woman, or man suffers needlessly.
