Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C,I-Schoharie), assisted by state and local officials such as Sen. Michelle Hinchey (SD-46), Greene County Sheriff Pete Kusminsky and local volunteers, distributed 1,000 rapid antigen testing kits and KN95 masks to residents in Coxsackie and Schoharie in drive-thru events on Saturday and Sunday. Despite the weekend’s incredibly cold weather, all of the masks and test kits were distributed during the pair of events.

“I was overwhelmed, not just by the turnout of people coming to receive test kits and masks this weekend, but also how many showed up to help facilitate the distribution of these vital goods,” said Tague. “I can’t thank everyone who attended enough for braving hours of freezing temperatures just to help out our neighbors. I truly appreciate the efforts of everyone who helped organize and operate these very successful distributions.”
