Tague Celebrates Permanent Cider and Spirit Direct-To-Consumer Shipping
Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C-Schoharie) is pleased to announce a COVID-19 pandemic relief measure that supported businesses statewide and satisfied customers was signed into law. New York’s small craft manufacturers are now able to ship directly to consumers, thanks to a campaign waged by Tague and signed into law by the governor. Tague was thrilled when he heard the news.
“This is one of the positive changes from COVID-19 our local producers were asking for, and I’m so glad the governor signed it into law,” Tague said. “Giving our local and small businesses a chance to compete with their quality products and personal service is something I’ll always advocate for, and I’m just beyond thrilled to see this signed into law. I want to thank the governor, Assembly Agriculture Committee Chairwoman Lupardo, my partners in state government and all the local advocates for pushing for this change. This is a victory for you!”
