Tague Presents Assembly Citations to 2020 NYSID Joslin Outstanding Performers Award Winners
Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C,I,Ref-Schoharie) went to the Arc Lexington in Schoharie this Tuesday to present Josh Jackson, Ray Trendell, and Chris Stephens with New York State Assembly citations honoring them for having earned the New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID) Joslin Award for Outstanding Performers for 2020. This award is granted by NYSID to workers with disabilities in various industries who have worked with NYSID to find work and excel within their workplaces, overcoming obstacles in their lives to become great assets to their employers, coworkers, and communities alike.
“Josh, Ray, and Chris are hard workers deserving of this recognition for their dedication to their jobs and their skilled performance as employees,” said Tague. “These young men are truly deserving of this honor, especially in this year, as they stepped up to become essential workers and help their neighbors in a time when their help was needed most, and for that they should all have our thanks. The way they’ve put the well-being of their community before their own is something we can all take inspiration from, as they’ve truly exemplified what it means to be a good citizen.”
