“I am disappointed that our governor has chosen to put on a show for New Yorkers this week with four days of speeches, rather than getting right to work for the people of our state who need our help now more than ever. While I was happy to hear the governor’s acknowledgement of our state’s need for improving broadband access, infrastructure and our level of health preparedness, the proposals lacked specifics that will hopefully be detailed in the coming days. I was also hoping more would be said about what can be done to help our small businesses, farms, landlords, renters and local restaurants that have been struggling to make ends meet for months now.”
