Tague Attends Unveiling Of New Schoharie Economic Enterprises Corporation Headquarters
Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C,I-Schoharie) celebrated the culmination of two years of work by the Schoharie Economic Enterprises Corporation, the Bank of America, and his office, as he joined Sen. Peter Oberacker (R/C–Schenevus), Albany/Hudson Bank of America President David Cornell and SEEC Executive Director Julie Pacatte at the debut of the new SEEC headquarters on Main Street in Schoharie. Today, they unveiled the new location to the public.
Tague played an instrumental role in connecting SEEC to Bank of America, who then, following a two-year working process, gifted the organization with a new, larger headquarters building, located on Main Street in Schoharie across from the Schoharie county office building.
“This project has been years in the making, and it’s incredible to see it finally come to life. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to show the Bank of America the great work SEEC has done for the people and businesses of Schoharie,” said Tague.
SEEC has played a key role in the community’s economic development, offering services and guidance to new and existing business owners while also providing grants to businesses looking to expand, streamline, or otherwise improve their operations. Their new location will provide them with a greater space to offer programs and services to local businesses, and will help be even more effective in helping entrepreneurs open their businesses and make the most of available local resources. Eventually, they hope to open coworking spaces within their new headquarters.
“This new headquarters will allow SEEC to serve as an economic hub that connects entrepreneurs with local officials. This close proximity to the county office building will make it that much easier for people who want to start or expand their business to move through regulatory processes and start serving the people of Schoharie. I can’t wait to see what they’ll be able to do for our community in the future after making such a tremendous positive impact on our local economy already,” said Tague.
