2023-2024 Issues Survey Results

Thank you to those who participated in my office’s road survey. There were 255 unique respondents in Assembly District 95, and a handful of others from outside of the district. The table below summarizes constituent assessments of the six roads my office receives complaints about most frequently.

I have already been in communication with the NYSDOT about the six roads listed in the survey. In the open-ended spaces, commenters most often added Route 100, the Taconic Parkway, the Sprain Brook Parkway, Route 9D, U.S. 202, U.S 6, and the Saw Mill Parkway as routes in the district and the surrounding area that need attention for a variety of reasons. In addition to potholes, frequently cited issues included litter, overgrowth, poorly repaired road joints, signage issues, poor traffic management, and more. I will be sharing all of these comments in follow up communications with NYSDOT Region 8 director.
