Norber Celebrates Historic Israel-Palestine Peace Deal

Former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Staff Sgt. and Assemblyman Daniel Norber (R,C-Great Neck) issued a statement commending President Donald J. Trump for his instrumental role in securing the U.S.-brokered ceasefire in Gaza and the safe return of the final 20 living Israeli hostages, released by Hamas after more than two years of captivity.
“As a proud Jewish American, my heart is full seeing these families reunited after unimaginable pain,” said Norber. “The release of these hostages who endured such hardship marks a moment of optimism for our community here on Long Island and across the world. I thank President Trump for his leadership in working with our allies to bring this deal to fruition. This is a step toward healing and stability in a region that has seen too much suffering. Here on Long Island, where our Jewish community stands united with Israel, we celebrate this milestone and recommit to a future of peace and security for all.”
