McDonough Hosts Assembly Minority Sex Offender Task Force

Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I – Merrick), left, hosted a hearing of the Assembly Minority Sex Offender Watch Task Force, of which he is chairman. McDonough was joined by Assemblymen Joe Saladino (center) and Tom McKevitt (center right), as well as other members of the Assembly Minority Conference.
Held in Merrick on Thursday, April 23, the forum focused on developing a comprehensive strategy to protect Long Island children from predators, including residency restrictions and sex offender monitoring. Prosecutors, law enforcement officials, prominent victims’ rights advocates and educators from Nassau and Suffolk counties also participated, bringing their wide-ranging perspectives to the discussion.
