Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) today announced a record number of donations to his annual community pet food drive. The drive is in cooperation with Long Island Cares and the Key Club of Division High School, who collected thousands of pounds of food themselves.

“I want to thank Division High School’s Key Club for their tremendous donation to our community and our needy pets,” McDonough said. “The outpouring of community response and engagement for this drive demonstrates the altruism and compassion of our neighbors, school groups, local families and small businesses, and I couldn’t be prouder of this year’s success. Pets bring so much joy and comfort to thousands of families on Long Island and seeing that they are fed and well taken care of is near and dear to my heart.”
