Senator Webb & Assemblywoman Lupardo Recognize M-E Girls Bowling Team for State Championship Win
Team congratulated for capturing first girls’ state bowling title
Endwell, NY – Senator Lea Webb and Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo joined the Maine-Endwell Athletic Department to congratulate the Girls Bowling Team on their State Championship win in March of this year. They presented a Legislative Resolution that passed in both the Assembly and the Senate, congratulating the team on the win. Their coach and parents were in attendance to join the celebration.
On March 16th, the Maine-Endwell Spartans captured the NYSPHSAA Division II Championship in Girls Bowling, defeating Depew High School by 132 pins with a six-game total of 5,753. With this win under their belt, the team will now move on to compete in the High School Bowling National Championship in Indiana this coming June.
The team was led to victory by Head Coach Eric Williams. The 13-member team includes four graduating seniors, with senior Natalie Yale having signed her letter of intent to bowl at William Smith College this Fall.

Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo said, “Congratulations to the M-E Girls Bowling Team on their State Championship win! They worked hard all season, taking home the first Girls Bowling title. We were very proud to recognize their accomplishment with a joint Legislative Resolution in the NYS Assembly and Senate.”
