Assemblyman Doug Smith Announces Kids ID Event
February 4, 2020
Assemblyman Doug Smith (5th District) is pleased to announce his upcoming Operation Safe Child Kids ID event. This event is scheduled for Friday, February 21 at the Sachem Library in Holbrook.
I am grateful to partner with the Suffolk County Sheriffs Office to once again host this event designed to make our community safer, Smith said. Parents can have their children photographed and fingerprinted as well as enter other relevant information into the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services Amber Alert database. As a former teacher, nothing is more important to me than protecting our children, and I look forward to a wonderful event aimed at doing just that.
