Assemblyman Ed Flood (R,C-Port Jefferson) hosted his first Women of Distinction event to present official Assembly Proclamations to two local women, Diana Brown and Gail Lynch-Bailey, who have made a significant impact in the community and are worthy of recognition. 

“Diana and Gail display outstanding dedication, exemplary leadership and tireless service that has left an indelible mark on our community, inspiring all those who have had the privilege of working with them,” said Flood. “Their strong commitment to improving the lives of others throughout their own lives is admirable and I thank them both for joining me today. Thank you to the VFW for letting us use the Post for the event and thank you to Cella Bagels for providing the delicious treats.”
