Assemblyman Braunstein Hosts Over 100 Blood Donors at Successful Northeast Queens Drive

“I’m proud to announce that over 100 Northeast Queens residents donated urgently-needed blood at my office's 10th Annual Summer Blood Drive. Thanks to their generosity, 375 lives will be saved,” said Assemblyman Edward Braunstein.“I thank the New York Blood Center for partnering on another successful event and the Cord Meyer Development Company for providing us with the necessary space at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center. Thanks also to the New York Mets for providing free t-shirts to donors.”

All donors were also entered into a sweepstakes by the New York Blood Center to win one of two six-packs of tickets to a New York Mets game. Donors Clare Grandelli and Neal Kwait were the sweepstakes winners.
