Bayside, NY – Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside) is happy to announce the winners of his annual Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest. The grand prize winners are:

• 2nd grade: Qiannan Qu, P.S. 94 (Douglaston) / Peihong Art Studio (Auburndale)
• 3rd grade: Cynthia Lin, P.S. 221 (Little Neck)
• 4th grade: Xenia Perez, P.S. 159 (Bayside)
• 5th grade: Chloe Chen, P.S. 115 (Glen Oaks)

“Qiannan, Cynthia, Xenia and Chloe each submitted spooky and imaginative entries to my office’s Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest. Their families and schools should be very proud of their creative work,” said Assemblyman Braunstein. “Thank you to the nearly 200 local students who got into the holiday spirit and submitted stories and drawings of their own to this year’s contest.”

All winners received an Amazon gift card and all participants received a New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit.
