Assemblyman Braunstein Announces Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest Winners

Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside) announced the winners of his Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest for students in grades two through five:

2nd Grade Grand Prize award: Jessica Zhang, who attends P.S. 115: The James J. Ambrose School in Floral Park.
3rd Grade Grand Prize award: Sabrina Xu, who attends P.S. 203: The Oakland Gardens School.
4th Grade Grand Prize award: Madelyn Brosi, who attends Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament School in Bayside.
5th Grade Grand Prize award: Elicia Chau, who attends P.S. 94: The David D. Porter School in Little Neck, and is the first ever repeat winner of one of Assemblyman Braunstein’s contests.

"Congratulations to all of the winners. Nearly 300 students from schools throughout Queens participated in our Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest and I was very impressed with their outstanding artistic and creative entries," said Assemblyman Braunstein. All winners received a New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit as well as an Amazon.com gift card.
