As a legislator, Assemblywoman Weinstein often meets with and speaks on behalf of residents, and grass roots or non-profit organization on a wide range of issues and concerns. Most recently, (clockwise) the Assemblywoman spoke in support of the restoration of funding for foreclosure prevention programs, spoke to local members of the United Federation of Teachers during their visit to the Capitol, met with members of the Catholic Conference who were in Albany as part of a broad coalition lobbying for school tax credits, and spoke before the New York City Water Board in opposition of impending NYC water rate hikes.
