“The 2023-24 state budget cut corners and was full of irreparable holes—it will essentially leak taxpayers’ dollars until there is no funding left for those who need it most. The budget lacks fiscal assurance for the future in key issues while creating new programs that will facilitate future government waste. It fails to address critical issues such as affordability, public safety and health care. While I’m saddened we continue to throw good money away, it is my goal to provide solutions that may brighten our future while bringing the voice of our district to the conversation.”
