Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz (R,C-Oyster Bay) hosted this year’s Toys for Tots holiday toy drive and was very proud of the turnout. Blumencranz partnered with Hicksville Public Library to serve as a donation drop-off location. Constituents also dropped off new, unwrapped toys at the assemblyman’s district office. Enough toys were collected to fill over 10 garbage bags between both locations. Blumencranz is thankful for the generosity of residents of the 15th Assembly District and is encouraging constituents to remember those less fortunate this time of year.

“Our annual Toys for Tots toy drive was a resounding success and showcased the generosity of Long Islanders this holiday season,” said Blumencranz. “I want to thank Hicksville Public Library for partnering with us and most importantly I want to thank each of you who took time out of your day over the last few weeks to donate toys to help put a smile on the face of a child in need. Your support goes a long way toward making the holidays a special time for everyone.”
