Gallahan Secures $25,000 for Waterloo Library & Historical Society

Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan (R,C-Manchester) is announcing that he has secured $25,000 in Bullet Aid funding for the Waterloo Library & Historical Society.The funding will be used to update Fatzinger Hall with new seating.This updated seating will still preserve a historic look to maintain the history of the building, while creating a more spacious and comfortable community venue.

“Built over 100 years ago in the 1880’s, the Waterloo Library & Historical Society building is historic on its own.I am proud to announce the funding of this much needed project in Fatzinger Hall,” said Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan.“After a year of social distancing, this project will bring the community together once again, hosting theatrical productions, readings, movie nights and other programs. Thank you to Executive Director Cyndi Park-Sheils, the board of directors and everyone who has been working so hard on the library’s capital campaign for your dedication to Waterloo,” said Gallahan
