Gallahan: Annual Donation Drive for Local Pets and Animals Began Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026

Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan (R,C-Manchester) is proud to announce his annual donation drive for local pets and animals began on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, and will end on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026. Gallahan is once again partnering with Beverly Animal Shelter in Seneca County and Happy Tails Animal Shelter in Ontario County and is asking residents from either county to donate new dog food, cat food, treats, toys, litter and cleaning supplies to help support vulnerable animals in need.

“I am very excited to once again partner with Happy Tails Animal Shelter and Beverly Animal Shelter in Ontario and Seneca counties to donate essentials to pets and animals in need this winter,” said Gallahan. “The turnout from our Assembly District 131 community each year is amazing and greatly helps support our local animal shelters tremendously. I encourage everyone to get out and donate this year as well!”

The drop-off sites for the pet drive this year include:

  • Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan’s Office in Geneva;
  • Phelps Town Hall in Phelps;
  • Manchester Town Hall in Clifton Springs;
  • Canandaigua Town Hall in Canandaigua;
  • Seneca Falls Library in Seneca Falls; and
  • Waterloo Village Hall in Waterloo.

Please note that this pet supply drive was planned and organized prior to the announcement regarding the closure of the Beverly Animal Shelter. While the shelter prepares for this transition, it is still caring for animals and accepting donations over the next few months.
