Assemblyman-elect Jeff Gallahan (R,C-Manchester) has been appointed to several committees within the NYS Assembly Minority Conference, including Aging; Children and Families; Local Governments; and Tourism, Parks, Arts, and Sports Development. Additionally, Gallahan also received an appointment as ranking minority member of the Racing and Wagering Committee.

“It is an honor to have been appointed to committees that do such important work for the families and working people of the 131st Assembly District and throughout our state,” said Gallahan. “As ranking member of the Racing and Wagering Committee, I’m excited to explore opportunities to create further economic growth in this sector within our district, and I look forward to hitting the ground running in January to get to work for my constituents in making our area the best place to live and work it can possibly be.”
