Bronx, NY – Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz has issued the following statement on recent events in Israel:

“Once again, innocent Israeli civilians – both Jewish and Arab – are under attack by Hamas and allied groups. Over 1,000 rockets have been launched from Gaza against Israeli population centers.

“I strongly condemn these attacks against Israel by the terrorist organizations Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad as well as those who supply them with these weapons, including Iran. They deliberately target civilians. Israel has a right and obligation to protect all Israelis, and I unequivocally support the actions of Israel to defend itself against these vicious terrorists.”
