A statement by Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio (R,C,I-Riverhead) on Gov. Cuomo’s aide revealing they stonewalled on nursing home

“This revelation by one of the governor’s aides is both troubling and deeply distressing. We need to be able to trust our leaders to provide us with transparency and the real facts of an ongoing situation. This shows a callousness and priority of political standing over doing the job he was elected for. It is time for his emergency powers to be removed from him. He has shown he cannot be trusted with the responsibility. It’s time for the people to get back in the driver’s seat.

“Lives were lost, and families’ loved ones who were taken away. There are many more that were affected by one person's decisions. We need answers.
