“Taxes on the middle class are on the rise with this one-house bill proposed by the governor and negotiated by the Majority. We are going to receive more than $15 billion from the federal government to help offset the financial shortfalls caused by COVID-19, but with one-party rule and the Majority members the only check in negotiations, they are going to catapult our taxes through the roof and hurt our small businesses and checkbooks.

“Without a fully engaged executive, the people of this state are vulnerable to these exact kinds of games that take advantage of them, their hard-earned money and their homes. Gov. Cuomo needs to resign so that a stable government can negotiate the state budget.”
