Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio (R,C,I-Riverhead) recently voted yes on a resolution repealing Gov. Cuomo’s executive order requiring food to be sold at bars for a customer to have service. Giglio is thrilled that restaurants and bars can finally start to get back to normal and return to usual staffing levels.

“It’s about time,” Giglio said. “It took way too long to repeal this order which isn’t backed by any medical or scientific study. Restaurants and bars have been struggling, not just to make ends meet, but with filling staff requirements that executive orders such as this require. We have a victory for all our local bars and restaurants.”
