“I join with all New Yorkers in feelings of sadness and anger because of the shooting of innocent lives in the grocery store in Buffalo. It was an act of evil fueled by hatred. This senseless and devastating attack has touched so many people. Few words may bring comfort to the families of the victims and everyone impacted; I send them my prayers and support. I also pray for all the first responders who worked at this chaotic scene to help those in need.”
