Mikulin on Hochul’s State of the State
A Statement from Assemblyman John Mikulin (R, C, I-Bethpage)
January 5, 2022
“Gov. Hochul’s State of the State address was a refreshing return back to the business of governance. While I support term limits for statewide elected officials, there are still so many unanswered questions in the governor’s plan. For example, how can we provide billions in welcome tax relief given the fiscal state New York is in right now? What does she plan to do to stop the devastation Cuomo’s bail reforms have had on our communities? I look forward to reviewing the governor’s agenda, and I will also be sharing with her policies of my own, such as plans to help further support veterans and pandemic frontline workers who are facing PTSD. This session we must work together to rebuild our state.”
