Mikulin & Long Island Cares Thank Community for Donations
Assemblyman John Mikulin (R,C-Bethpage) would like to thank the community for their generosity and participation in his annual food drive with Long Island Cares. The 2022 Long Island Cares Summer Food Drive was held at the King Kullen Shopping Center in Levittown from June 11 to 12 and over 2840 pounds of food was collected.
“There are so many people struggling right now, and the generosity of our community – especially during this time – really highlights the strength in our core values. We look out for each other here, and I have never been prouder to represent this community than at times like these,” said Mikulin. “Thank you to everyone who participated in our drive, King Kullen, and my partners at Long Island Cares for everything they do to keep our neighbors in need well fed.”
If you or someone you know needs help getting through this tough economic time to keep food on the table or feed your kids, please know help is available. Do not hesitate to contact Long Island Cares’ website to find a local food bank in your community, as they partner with local pantries all across Long Island and throughout Nassau County.
